in a western world

| Eniko Mihalik for Vogue Italia photographed by Francesco Carrozzini, Styled by Enrica Ponzellini |
I am so in love with this editorial! Eniko is still one of my favourite models and who better to go all the way with a lonely cowgirl wandering the streets than Vogue Italia?
Carrozzini thrills the viewer with dramatic lighting and choice of camera angles while Ponzellini styles to perfection with items from Dolce & Gabbana, Fendi, Chanel and Giambattista Valli, among many others.
If I had to choose a favourite, like if my life depended on it,  I would pick Eniko smoking in the phone booth. There’s something special about the light cascading upon her figure in the booth and a sort of smugness to her stance that draws me into the scene. The extras in some of the shots, the ‘crowd’ is what transforms these shots into more than just fashion photography, yes it’s been done before but I like how all of the elements come together in this editorial to woo me.
Enough analysis, simply enjoy!
